South Okanagan Similkameen Crime Stoppers is seeking Directors.

This is a volunteer position sitting as a member of the board controlling the actions and policy of South Okanagan Similkameen Crime Stoppers.

Directors attend monthly information and policy meetings and assist with special events planning and fund raising.

Do you have a few hours per month to contribute and a wish to help Crime Stoppers fight crime in our area.

Preference will be given to individuals with experience in business management, finance, media relations and computer and internet experience.

CRIME STOPPERS CAR PROJECT

Crime Stoppers and some youth from the Penticton Indian Band are embarking on a project to rebuild a car that will be used for community parades, events and awareness. Visit our Car Project page.


The next general meeting of South Okanagan Similkameen Crime Stoppers will be held at 7 p.m. Monday September 27, 2010 at the Penticton Lakeside Resort, 21 Lakeshore Dr. West, Penticton, B.C.
